A Joyful Surprise

For the past year or so, we have been collecting donated books and books bought from library sales, covering the paperback ones in clear contact paper, hoping one day to be able to send them to the Upendo Center in Kenya. This July we learned of a friend who was willing to carry a suitcase to Nairobi from Virginia. We quickly added other supplies like soccer balls, jump ropes, toothbrushes, pencils and more. How glad we were to know the gifts have been received and the books have found a new home in the growing Steve Smith Memorial Library!
