SOS!

It’s been a long difficult summer with lots of illness among the UNTV children. We’re not talking typical summer colds, but life-threatening illnesses like HIV, COPD, sickle cell anemia, and even blood cancer. The cost of frequent hospitalizations at a reputable hospital have put us in dire financial straits, unable to finish out the year. SOS… we need your help!

But not all has been bad news, there are some good things that have happened, and we can see God at work. The ministry has obtained scholarships for all the children to continue in their education. This is not to be taken for granted, as most children in Kenya don’t have the means to go to school.

Goldstein as a child, when he first came to us

Goldstein, our once troubled student who had to be released, returned to us about a year or so ago. He was repentant and began to volunteer and attend the meetings, showing himself to be changed. He was added back into the program and is finishing his welding internship. It is our prayer that he will be hired as a welder and be able to give back.
